Cathy Boland (nee Benning) received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey. Employed by the

New Jersey Department of Human Services since 1985, she works in the city of Trenton and lives in Mercerville, New Jersey, with her two sons, Patrick (age 12) and James (age 10).
